Hi...as you know we never got there...it is so hard with three under five and one on the way! By the time we got the monkeys, fed, bathed, and babysitter ready...it was already too late! See you at the Sunday market. Diane

Hi, Victoria.
My husband's birthday is March 19 so I won't make this meeting. But I'm so excited to meet up with others locally at some point! I have been reading Nourishing Traditions and slowly trying to switch my family (two boys, 7 and 9) over to a more NT/WAP kind of diet. I have been making yogurt and buying raw milk when I can, grass fed beef. I'm just starting to experiment with lacto fermentation, though I can't say I'm a fan (yet). Looking forward to learning more about this group and to some day meeting you all!

Hi Victoria,

Yes I am planning on attending the event on the 19th. This area really is an interest to me. I am thinking about going back to school for something in this area and am really trying to figure out where I am best suited.

Was a member long ago in SF. Been in LA for a while and hoping to reconnect with other quirky raw-dairy loving, kombucha-growing folks! Do you folks have potlucks, meetups, cooking classes, etc?

I didn't make it to the conference, but would like to hear all about it from you.
We had some major #$*! come up, sorry I didn't let you know about hosting a meeting at my house this month. I can have one in December if you would like to, just let me know.
Sal!

Thanks for the welcome! Yeah, first I read Omnivore's Dilemma and In Defense of Food. Then I found the Traditional Foods group on the Mothering.com forums and read Nourishing Traditions and Full Moon Feast. I've had digestive issues for years which has lead me to lurk on countless Yahoo group forums, looking for answers. Finally I feel like I'm starting to connect the dots.

Hi Victoria,

Yes, my daughter is a friend of Ann Marie, but I have been eating a very organic and natural diet for many years. Until this week, I had only used raw milk for making yogurt. There was always so much controvery over it, so I was scared to try it. Although, I drank quite a bit of raw milk as a child.
